New Hampshire Furniture Masters Association

The New Hampshire Furniture Masters Association (NHFMA) was formed in 1993 with one goal in mind: to build public awareness of New Hampshire’s fine furniture makers and to cultivate an audience for their goods closer to home.

The Furniture Masters continue striving to spread awareness of their craft into the present, working collaboratively and leveraging their potent body of collective knowledge and experience to stimulate one another’s creative output. Each year, the organization showcases a select group of the members’ creations in a series of exhibitions, house parties, and since 1995, an annual furniture auction.

Gary was invited to exhibit at the 2011 NHFMA Annual Auction, where he presented "Elliette".  He later joined the association in 2012, and exhibited "Elizabeth" and "Emily" at the annual auction event. Inspiration for the 2013 showcase is ongoing, and promises to be another new, exciting, and exclusive Armstrong piece available at the NHFMA annual auction.

The League of NH Craftsmen was founded in 1932, and is one of the oldest and most prestigious craft organizations in the country. The League was formed during the years of the Depression to help New Hampshire crafts people make a living through difficult financial times, through education and by building an audience and market for fine handmade craft. The League continues this mission today.

Gary is a juried member and will be attending and exhibiting at the Annual League of NH Craftsmen's Fair to be held at the Mount Sunapee Resort in the beautiful Dartmouth/Sunapee region of New Hampshire, August 2013.
