Charles Kendall Group
London, UK
"As the Chairman of the Charles Kendall Group, I have known Gary Armstrong for many years. We have awarded him many commissions to make the very finest furniture, mostly in 'Regency' or 18th century style. He has always executed these with a professional cabinet maker's skill second to none. His pieces now grace many Grade 1 period properties and are much admired."
"When quality of the highest order is required, I would recommend him without reservation."

Organ Case
"Gary Armstrong was asked to design and produce an organ case for a royal Middle Eastern client...The organ was to be the focal point of an octagonal reception hall, and the challenge of the commission was to make a piece of furniture to complement a collection of European eighteenth-century antiques already in the room...The client desired that the case convey a sense of stature equal to his position; and the design, proportion, and material selections all reflect this concern, making it worthy of the royal coat of arms centered on the music lectern."

André Charles Boulle Bureau Plat
"This Bureau Plat is a copy Gary Armstrong was commissioned to make after an original by André Charles Boulle that sold at Sotheby's New York, in 1999...Armstrong was fortunate to have access to the original desk during its restoration and was able to make detailed measurements and take digital photographs to aid his replication process...The resulting piece of furniture is remarkably true to the original, and the many disciplines and precious materials involved in its making insure that it will remain a valued object well into the future."
