A REGENCY PERIOD MAHOGANY AND GILT CHIFFONIER circa 1800

Copied from a photograph only this piece is one of a pair and made from specially chosen solid Swietenia Mahogany throughout. The hand dovetailed drawer linings are constructed from solid Oak and the drawer fronts are finished with a delicate cockbead moulding.The door mouldings and twisted collar fluted columns are finished in 22crt gold gilt and the grilles covering the gold thread fabric are in gold plate. The finely cast gilt handles are exact copies of the originals and are hand made using the lost wax process.
