A QUEEN ANNE PERIOD WALNUT BURL BREAKFRONT SIDEBOARD circa 1710
Commissioned by Private client
Designed by Gary Armstrong to compliment its surrounding decoration this piece is made from solid Oak and English Walnut Burl to match a previously made dining table. Standing on bracket feet with burl veneered moulding this piece contains adjustable shelving behind the centre cupboard doors with a serving slide above. The top drawers of the breakfront sides are hand dovetailed and constructed from solid Oak and individually fitted for silverware. The lower graduated false drawer fronts are concealing cupboards with adjustable shelving. The finely cast brass handles are exact copies of the originals and are hand made using the lost wax process.
